The most important goal right now is to build a sickle center which will have among other facilities,
a sickle cell clinic, offices for the Sickle Cell Association of Uganda and a training facility for training of trainers and
educators on sickle cell.The Mulumba family has already donated land for the construction of this center. Many companies
in Uganda have also showed a lot of interest in contributing materials and funds to make this dream a reality.
- When the center is finally finished, hopefully by early 2012, we will need furniture,
medical, office and educational equipments to furnish the center.We will be publishing a list of items that we will
need at this website in the near future.We appeal to any individual or organizations to come to the aid of this effort.

You can also adopt a sickle cell child
by paying his/her school fees. A lot of sickle cell parents are not able to pay for their children's schooling because of
inability to work due to the disease.Contact Mrs Mukiibi for such children who need help with school fees. - Help in the fight against stereotyping of sicklers by explaining that sickle cell is a genetic ineheritance
that has nothing today with spells or charms
