Sickle Cell patients have only one dilapitated clinic in Mulago where both pediatric and adult
patients have to be seen. The Sickle Association of Uganda has 10 x10 feet container which also doubles as a counseling space
for their clients. Given this state of affairs, it makes sense that the sickle cell community construct a home that could
be a one-stop multi-faceted center. In addition to housing a clinic, the center will have a lab, training facilities, information
center, and offices. It is going to be constructed on a piece of land which was donated to the sickle cell community by the
Mulumba family.
